Graphic & Interior Intern

At Citylife, we’re looking per today for a proactive, ambitious and creative Graphic and Interior Design Intern. In this position, you’re helping our Branding & Interior Manager to further develop our brand identity, develop graphic designs and help with designing our co-living apartments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Help out with the design of our Citylife branded apartments from concept to completion
  • Assist in setting costs and project fees according to budget
  • Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
  • Develop illustrations and other graphic designs that are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Thinking along with our brand strategy

Profile

  • Bachelor level education in a relevant study (e.g. Graphic Design, Spatial Design, Interior Architecture)
  • Fluent in English, Dutch or both
  • Experience with graphic and interior design
  • Proactive, self-starter with an open and adventurous attitude combined with the intrinsic drive to always strive for improvements and sharing insights and ideas
  • Available for at least 4 days a week, minimum of 5 months
  • Living in the area of Rotterdam

In addition to these qualities, it is above all important that you fit within our team, philosophy and culture of Citylife. You have excellent communication and social skills. You are driven, ambitious and result-oriented and you combine this with having fun and a healthy dose of humor and Dutch common sense 😉

Citylife aims to purchase at least 40 apartments in 2021. Next, we’re working on the transition from buying and renting out single apartments to purchasing, refurbishing, and renting out co-living buildings. The first buildings are purchased. The ambition for the remainder of 2021 is to buy multiple buildings of which at least one building is bigger than 5,000 m2. For now, we are focussing on Rotterdam, to expand to the other four large cities in the Netherlands after that. The next step is to go abroad.
