Operations & Marketing Intern position

To keep on making people happy and expand our team, we are looking for an Operations & Marketing Intern who can help us strengthen our Citylife community.

As our Operations & Marketing Intern, our team will always be available to guide, advise and assist you in all stages but we also would like you to come up with ideas and improvements to our events and community. This internship will serve as a great learning experience, both in expanding your skill set as well as giving you a general awareness on how a growing startup functions. We hope to see you quickly grow into a leader and expert in your field.

With the growing number of members that Citylife is managing, we need someone to help us with the daily operations of managing our apartment portfolio and our community. Next to that, you will help organize events and boost our community. Your responsibilities will include communication with our entire community of members as well as contractors, marketing and community partners. Your role will be to make sure all parties are aligned and that requests and projects are being processed. You will also brainstorm, organize and plan events for our community. This entails you will assist in coordinating logistics, in helping out with the event budget and creating post-event reports. Ideally, we need you to have an interest in Marketing, as one of your tasks will be to promote our apartments and events on online channels including social media. Last but not least, we count on you to be active during events and help our members in creating happy memories together.

This flexible internship will give you the chance to strengthen the events and community for a growing startup. You will acquire skills and experience in your field of expertise, understand the workflow of a starting company and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Our office location (42 Workspace) is also a big plus – we are located in the heart of Rotterdam, right on the Witte de Withstraat, with a rooftop terrace, a gym, and a large community of tech entrepreneurs. We offer an internship salary of €500,- per month based on a full-time internship.
